Teaching Politics Through Games and Simulations
1 May 2024 · Online
UCL’s Centre for the Pedagogy of Politics (CPP) hosted this 90 minute online panel on the theme of Teaching Politics Through Games and Simulations.
The event brought together political scientists and political theorists for a discussion on the use, and possible misuse, of games and simulations in the teaching of political science and political theory.
The panel was intended to consider both the opportunities these approaches offer for teaching and the challenges involved in using them effectively. It was aimed at those interested in pedagogical scholarship, as well as educators looking for practical ideas and insights for their own teaching. Time was also allocated for audience Q&A.
